Pedro is the Executive Director of the Third Avenue BID. Pedro is a native Bronxite who most recently served as a Program Director with a Bronx-based nonprofit organization. Previously, he was a Senior Partnership and Outreach Specialist at the NYC Department of Sanitation's Commercial Programs Unit. He also provided technical assistance to small businesses at the NYC Business Solutions Centers in Upper and Lower Manhattan. Pedro has a Master’s Degree of Public Administration from Baruch College, completed the 9-month Coro Leadership New York program, and acquired an Executive Management certification from Hostos Community College. Pedro lives in the Bronx with his wife and two children.

The activities of the Third Avenue Business Improvement District are governed by a Board of Director, which is composed of property owners, businesses, government officials, and resident and community representatives, Board members are elected to one or two years terms and volunteer their time and expertise to ensure that Third Avenue continues to thrive.
